ABOUT
Studio Ro is a Sydney-based interior design studio founded by Rowena Cregan.
With over a decade of industry experience working on high-end residential projects across London, Los Angeles, Paris, Saint-Tropez and Singapore, Rowena established Studio Ro in her hometown of Sydney in 2022.
The studio offers a full-service approach to residential interior design, guiding projects from initial concept and spatial planning through to technical design, bespoke detailing, sourcing, procurement, installation and final styling.
At Studio Ro, we believe a successful interior should have a strong sense of identity — one that feels entirely individual to its architecture, setting and the people who live within it.
Our approach is grounded in a respect for architecture, proportion and craftsmanship, balancing enduring design principles with an expressive use of colour, material and detail. We are drawn to the dialogue between old and new, bringing together contemporary and vintage furniture, art, bespoke pieces and carefully considered objects to create interiors with character and individuality.
Rather than adhering to a singular aesthetic, each project is developed in response to its architecture, setting and the personality and lifestyle of the client. Every element is considered as part of a layered composition, from the architectural details and material palette through to furniture, lighting, art and objects.
The result is a home that feels considered but never over-designed — sophisticated, characterful and deeply personal, with an identity that is entirely its own.
